Albert Preston Gibson

Albert Preston Gibson, 72, of Port Neches, died Sunday, September 6, 2020. He was born June 15, 1948, in Port Neches, to Hazel Trahan Harrington and Chester A. Gibson. Albert was a United States Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam era.

Survivors include his wife, Freddie Lynn Gibson; son, Scott Edward Gibson; daughter, Cathy Dianne Tompkins; grandchildren, Caitlyn and Clayton Tompkins; Olivia Flores; and Ryan and Cody Gibson; great-grandchild, Isabella Guerrero; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Peggy Ann Abshire.

Cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1315 South 27th Street, Nederland.
