Albert Sliva, Jr.
Albert Sliva, Jr., 82, of Hamshire, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017. He was born April 30, 1935, in Wallace, to Margaret Melner Sliva and Albert A. Sliva, Sr.
Survivors include son, Wade Sliva, of Wimberley; daughters, Christine Sliva and Andy Allen, of Hamshire; Reine Sliva Muehlenbein and her husband, Kevin, of Hamshire; granddaughter, Brittany Allen, of Hamshire; great-granddaughter, Victoria Allen, of Hamshire; brother, Gilbert Sliva, of Pleak.
He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Thelma Jean Sliva; and sister, Viola Pokluda,
A gathering of Mr. Sliva’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2017, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.. His interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s.
