Alice Quillen
Alice Faye Quillen, 67, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, May 20, 2020. She was born on November 6, 1952, in Silsbee, to Ruth Mae Spurlock Wiggins and Jasper Franklin Wiggins.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Quillen of Silsbee; children, Dawn Swarthout and her husband, Mike, of Lumberton; J.C. Gilbert of Arkansas; Stephen Gilbert of Silsbee; Amy Jo Quillen of Angleton; and Michael Quillen and his wife, Brandy, of Buna; sisters, Jeane McKinley and her husband, Reverend Harvey, of Post Falls, Idaho; Kaye McElroy and her husband, Jerry, of Ocala, Florida; Joy Hayes and her husband, Dan, of Jacksonville, Arkansas; Karen Wriser and her husband, Glenn, of Angleton; and Robbie McMullen of Silsbee; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family member.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Jasper and Ruth Wiggins; and sister, Patricia Maddox.
A gathering of Mrs. Quillen’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2020, at First Pentecostal Church, 1420 North 5th Street, Silsbee. Interment to follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Please observe social distancing.
