Amie Arguello Anderson

November 10, 1978 - October 25, 2019

Amanda “Amie” Anderson, 40, of Baytown, formerly of Vidor, passed away Friday, October 25, 2019. Amie was born November 10, 1978 in San Leandro, California, to William “Ernie” Arguello and Brenda Clemons. 

Amy resided in Baytown for the past sixteen years. She was a graduate of Vidor High School, received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Houston, and was a registered nurse at Texas Children’s Hospital. Amie also enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and watching the Astros.

She is survived by her son, Benjamin Anderson; daughter, Naomi Anderson; mother, Brenda Clemons; stepfather, Tommy Bartley; siblings,  Robert Rubero, Joni Waldrup, and Patrick Bartley; niece, Paige Stoughton; goddaughter, Julia Bright; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Amie was preceded in death by her father, William “Ernie” Arguello; son, Jacob Anderson; and her aunt, Linda Cochran.  

A memorial gathering for Ms. Anderson will be from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Broussard’s Centre’, 1775 Calder Avenue, Beaumont.
