Amy Kay Dennis

April 17, 1959 - March 16, 2019

Amy Kay Dennis, 59, of Kirbyville, died Saturday, March 16, 2019. She was born on April 17, 1959, to Linda Jane Tabb Johnson and Edward Earl Johnson, in Galliano, Louisiana. Amy was a retired childcare worker for many years and a dedicated member of the Jasper County Junior Livestock Foundation. She was a devoted Nana.

Survivors include her husband, Clint Dennis; daughters, Jessica George and her husband Chad, and Laura Dennis, all of Kirbyville; sister, Jolene Shaffer and her husband Rick, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Laney Dennis, Keagen George, and Jensen George; and sister-in-law, Lisa Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tabb Johnson, Sr.

A gathering of Mrs. Dennis’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Call Junction Baptist Church, 23701 Highway 96, Kirbyville. Interment will follow at George-Love Cemetery, Kirbyville.
