Arthur, It’s so sad to say there are almost more of the 1968 Buffalo team there than left here. Buddy Miller, Arlie Mitchum, George Frazier, Robbie Buck , Michael St, Pe’ and. Probably more I haven’t mentioned. I know Ralph Blaha is there as well. I din’t Know if you ever realized it or not, but we played football in a time where few teams threw the ball and almost none used a split end, the position you played. I played that position as a sophomore, so the position in high school at our level had not been used much. You might say the two of us may have been pioneers at that position. Most teams played two tight ends. In fact we lost to Fidelity Manir because they split two receivers which we had never seen and had not been taught how to defend. Coach Hardhbarger is there with you as well, so all of you already have a coach as well. Coach Spence has gone on ahead, too. Hold everything together until the rest of us get there and maybe we can get a rematch with Fildelity. Things just won’t be the same without you; We’ll miss you!! We can never replace a friend like you! We always had each other’s back!!

Arthur, I hope you realize how many people love and respect you! You will surely be missed by many! I am very proud to call you my good friend and fellow Buffalo. You were like my own brother. I know the next time the Buffaloes get together you will be there in spirit-please tell all the other Buffaloes up there hello and try to keep Robbie straight and out of trouble.
