Barbara Ann Brookshire

Barbara Ann Brookshire, 88, of Nederland, died Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Larkspur Nursing, Lufkin. She was born on October 16, 1931, to Lina Christine Segars Welch and Archie Offit Moss, in Ranger, Texas.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Sanders of Beaumont; brother, Jerry Welch of Burton; grandchildren, KayLynn Steffen, Jennifer Darby, Robert Sanders, Ricky Sanders, Tawni Brookshire, James Brookshire, Tiffany Ward, Amber Wheeler, and Daniel Brookshire; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Kenneth Brookshire and Leonard Brookshire; and siblings, Arthur Ray Moss, Jimmie Purcell, and Roy Moss.

A gathering of Ms. Brookshire’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
