Barbara Ann Hawkins
Barbara Ann Hawkins, 76, of Vidor, died Friday, August 10, 2018. She was born on February 17, 1942, in Liberty, to Mildred Grayson Cooley and Emmett Cooley. Barbara retired as a secretary from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Hawkins Johnson of Vidor; grandchildren, Somer Hipsley and her husband, Justin, of Vidor and Jordan Holland of Bridge City; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Raylan Hipsley; and numerous other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hawkins; and her parents.
A gathering of Mrs. Hawkins’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
