Barbara Jean Cotton

Barbara Jean Cotton, 82, of Walllisville, died February 6, 2017 at Harbor Hospice House of Beaumont. She was born on January 11, 1935, in Wallisville, to Estella Wiggins Blackwell and Stephen Florence Pierce, Jr. She was a lifelong resident of Wallisville, and retired as a nurse’s aide.

Barbara is survived by a son, Billy Farley and his wife, Suk Cha; daughter, Gayle Browning Jackson; grandson, Gary Edward Sims; great-granddaughter, Stormy Sims; sister, Elaine Pierce Thompson; and brother, Steven Hugh Pierce; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; and great-grandson, Keaton Sims.

A graveside service for Mrs. Cotton will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Wiggins Cemetery, Wallisville-Turtle Bayou Road, Wallisville.
