Bernice Waddell

Bernice Lambert Waddell, 86, of Beaumont, died Thursday, March 22, 2018. She was born on December 15, 1931, in Washington Parrish, Louisiana, to Addie Irene Bankston and Henry Herman Lambert. Bernice was a retired savings and loan executive. 

Bernice is survived by her son, Joseph Gregory Waddell and his wife, Marguerite, of Sour Lake; grandson, Shane C. Waddell, of Sour Lake; granddaughter, Katherine M. Waddell, of College Station; sisters, Shirley Fauntleroy, of Watson, Louisiana and Donice Hughey, of McComb, Mississippi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Addie Bankston Lambert; father, H.H. Lambert; and brother, William F. Lambert.

A gathering of Mrs. Waddell’s family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 26, 2018, at Broussard’s. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 37030 Louisiana Highway 10, Stoney Point, Louisiana.
