Bertha Marie Broussard Mills, 80, of Beaumont, died Monday, June 21, 2021, at UTMB, League City. She was born on January 5, 1941, in Winnie, to Lena Weisse Broussard and Francis Earl Broussard.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Mills and his wife, Marilynne, of Bevil Oaks and Bryan Mills and his wife, Sloane, of Hamshire; brother, Robert Broussard and his wife, Debra, of Seguin; grandchildren, Hillary Rena Mills Bricker and her husband, David, Bevil Oaks; Michael Jared Mills, of Bevil Oaks; Zachary Kyle Mills and his wife, Katherine, of Round Rock; and Samantha Alexandra Mills, of Hamshire; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Emory Mills, of Bevil Oaks; Draven Jaxon Mills, of Round Rock; Kale William Bricker, of Bevil Oaks; and Isabella Robin Mills, of Round Rock; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Broussard, of Trinity.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Mills and brother, Charles Broussard.

A gathering of Mrs. Mills’ family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 25, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 700 North Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
