Betty Jean Vrana

etty Jean Audilet Vrana, 87, of Kountze, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017. She was born on March 4, 1930, in Homewood, Mississippi, to Ottie Craig and Jack Audilet. Mrs. Vrana was a autoparts saleswoman.

Survivors include her children, Bonnie Padon and her husband, Robert, of Winnie; Lynda McInnis and her husband, Kenneth, of Kirbyville; Cynthia Freeman and her husband, James; and Don Phillips and his wife, Brenda, both of Kounzte; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Raymond Audilet, Clifton Audilet, George Audilet, and JoAnn Mendoza; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Howard L. Phillips, M.W. “Buddy” Keel, and Ernest Vrana; brother, Jimmy Audilet; and grandsons, Howard Kipp McInnis and Kenneth Lynn McInnis.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
