Betty Strawther

Betty Lou “Betty Boo” Strawther,72, of Call, died Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was born on September 12, 1945, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to Olga Luquette Landry and Louis Landry.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy Wayne Strawther and his wife, Sheila, of Call; Michael Lee Strawther and his wife, Janice, of Spurger; Sheila Ann Crawford of Nacogdoches; and Lisa Jean Thrasher and her husband, Jackie, of Kirbyville; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Melody Hope Risinger; two brothers; and two sisters.

Her committal was handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
