Billy Hatcher

Billy Joe Hatcher, 81, of Buffalo and formerly of Kountze, died Monday, November 11, 2019. He was born on September 3, 1938, in Saratoga, to Pearl Laird Hatcher and Thomas Hatcher.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Hatcher of Buffalo; children, Mitchell Hatcher and his wife, Marie, of Dayton; Michelle Wagoner of Stockton, California; and Mark Hatcher of Mexia; stepchildren, Keith Clark and his wife, Julia, of Dayton; Dawn Hutchins of Buffalo; and Jeremiah Carmichal and his wife, Kacey, of Marquez; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Mertie Thompson and Wayne Hatcher, both of Houston; and daughter-in-law, Annette Hatcher of Porter. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Hatcher; brothers, Jerold Hatcher, Leonard Hatcher, and Raymond Hatcher; and sister, Lenora Wells.

A gathering of Bill’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2019, at West End Baptist Church, 13189 Cotton Road, Saratoga, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019, at the church, with his interment to follow at Oilfield Cemetery, Saratoga.
