His true devotion was his family, whom he loved and supported every day of his life. His granddaughters were his greatest joy. Anyone who knew Billy will remember him for this, and for being such a fun person.

WELL, you picked a fine to leave us, Billy Kinard!! My goodness. OK, I think Billy and Gay will both appreciate the humor. Jay and I both loved Billy SO much. His winning smile and love of everyone he encountered was so refreshing. And his sense of humor you could count on. We're still in shock about his passing, but we know that Billy will be missed by SO many. God bless him and rest his soul.

Billy, you were such a friend to me in the early 80's, in my single years. We enjoyed wonderful nights together in Beaumont and those are evenings I will never forget. You truly became my brother when I needed one. You will be missed. Gay. I am so happy you and Billy had all those wonderful years together. Hugs and prayers go out to you and the rest of the family.
