Bonnie Gilbert

Bonnie Darlene Taylor Gilbert, 58, of Anahuac, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019, in Houston. She was born on December 16, 1960, in Beaumont, to Shirley Keeton Hankamer. Darlene attended Silsbee schools and had a love for all animals.

Survivors include her children, Annie Matthews and Ronnie Gilbert, Jr., both of Anahuac; mother, Shirley Hankamer of Longview; sister, Beth Taylor Buckner and her husband, Jack Daniels, of Longview; brothers, Butch Taylor and his wife, Kim, of Evadale; and Paul Rogers and his wife, Dena; and Murray Rogers, all of Hamshire Fannett; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Larry Matthews, Jr.

Darlene’s funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Cornerstone Church, 3810 Highway 124, Winnie, with her interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.
