Brenda Olds

Brenda Frances (Shelton) Olds, 78, died on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at her home in Austin, Texas. She was born at Hardin, Liberty County, Texas, on Aug. 15, 1940, and lived most of her early life in Baytown. Brenda was the daughter of Marcus Harvey Shelton and Pearlie Mae (Brooks) Shelton. She served thirty-two years as a librarian for the State of Texas.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Greg Olds of Austin; sister, Jewel Fleming of Leander, Texas; and brother, Lawrence Shelton of Baytown.

A memorial service for Mrs. Olds will be from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2019, which would have been Brenda’s 79th birthday, at the home of Nancy Coplin, 2810 Inridge Drive, Austin. Burial of Mrs. Olds cremated body will be in the family plot at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
