Brenda Squyres

June 27, 1956 - September 11, 2018

Brenda Lee Squyres, 62, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on June 27, 1956, to Violet Sachitano Squyres and Raymond E. Squyres, Sr. Brenda graduated French High School and Lamar University. She retired as a Medical Lab Technologist from Baptist Hospital with 48 years of service. Brenda enjoyed reading, computers, traveling, and gardening. She loved her Texas sport teams especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros.

Survivors include her aunt, Doris Varley of Big Springs; her sister, Rayanne Enderle of Beaumont; brother, Raymond E. Squyres, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Humble; and nieces and nephew, Desaray Enderle, Emma Squyres, Violet Squyres (Godchild), and Raymond E Squyres III.

A gathering of Miss Squyres’ family and friends will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a Rosary recited at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2018. Her memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont. An entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

Brenda will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts and prayers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont, Texas 77708 or the St. Anthony Cathedral School Foundation, 850 Forsythe Beaumont, Texas 77701.
