Carol Cappadonna

Carol Cappadonna, 79, of Nederland, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Lizete’s Loving Care Home, Nederland. She was born October 14, 1939, in Port Arthur, to Mary Louise Edmon Welch and James Bradley Welch.

Carol was a graduate of Bishop Byrne High School in 1958. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Sam Cappadonna, of Nederland; children, Elaine Broussard and her husband, Bill; Paula Cappadonna, all of Port Neches; and Ray Cappadonna and his wife, Roni, of Houston; grandchildren, Stephanie Wolfe and her husband, Joe, of Groves; Morgan Cappadonna; Madison Cappadonna, both of Houston; and Marshall Broussard, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and great-grandchildren, Jeffrey and Kady Wolfe, of Groves.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Essie Jo Badeaux.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Lizete Ellis and the staff at Lizete’s Loving Care Home and Kindred Hospice for the love and care given to Carol.

A gathering of Mrs. Cappadonna’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Port Neches, with her entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
