Casey Jones

Casey James Jones, 37, of Vidor, died Monday, September 2, 2019. He was born on March 17, 1982, in Galveston, to Robert Eugene Jones and Lissel Katy Alpers. Casey was a United States Army veteran.

Survivors include his father, Robert Jones, of Warren; mother, Katy Jones, of Rockport; sons, Trypp James Jones, of Vidor and Malykye Hollister Casey Jones, of Lumberton; siblings, Lola Elaine Jones, of Kountze; Robert Eugene Jones, Jr and his wife, Nicole, of Warren; John Tilmon Alpers and his wife, Jennifer; Victoria Lyne Jones, all of Lumberton; and Richard Peterson and his wife, Nicole, of Minnesota; aunts, Lizanne Leger, of Vidor; Nancy Duhon, of Houston; Diane Adair and her husband, Tommy, of Warren; uncles, Louis Alpers, of Kountze; Thomas Daniel Jones, Jr and his wife, Sarah, of Graham; Michael Jones and his wife, Tammie; and Tommy Jones; grandmother, Arvilla Jones, all of Warren; great-grandmother, Lola Alpers, of Kountze; and grandfathers, Thomas Daniel Jones, Sr, of Graham and Gene Nailer, of Rockport.

Casey is preceded in death by his son, Raydyn James Jones; great-grandfather, Tilmon Alpers; grandmother, E’Van Jones; grandfather, Bobby Jones; and great-grandmother, Florene Nailer.

A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe.
