Catherine M. Shoemaker

Catherine M. Shoemaker, 66, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Christus Southeast Texas Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on April 7, 1953, to Mary Alice Meche Miller and Lawrence Lee Miller, Sr., in Beaumont.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-seven years, Jim Shoemaker; sons, Brad West and his husband, Beau; and Brian West; sisters, Mary Reaux and her husband, Jimmy; and Cecilia Rothrock and her husband, Walter; brothers, Dominic Miller and his husband, Alan; and Larry Miller, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Hubert Miller.

Mrs. Shoemaker’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
