Charles “Sam†Raymond Jeansonne
Charles “Sam” Raymond Jeansonne, 88, of Beaumont, died Monday, December 21, 2020, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on September 29, 1932, to Mamie Escude Jeansonne and Samuel L. Jeansonne, in Evergreen, Louisiana, and was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War. Sam retired from Mobil Chemical as an Engineer.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Louise Fannin and her husband, Ted, of Beaumont; sons, David Jeansonne of Beaumont, Stephen Jeansonne of Arlington, and Michael Jeansonne, D.D.S., of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jennifer Stewart-Richardson and her husband, Edward, of New York, Taylor Fannin of Beaumont, Justin Fannin of Dallas, and Phillip Jeansonne and Ryan Jeansonne, both of Arlington.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife of over sixty years, Emily Jeansonne.
A gathering of Mr. Jeansonne’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. with his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77706-3240.
