Charles Raymond Dauterive
Charles Raymond Dauterive, 93, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, March 11, 2020. He was born on January 2, 1927, to Argentine Wybel Dauterive and Stanley Dauterive, in Port Arthur, and was a United States Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Dauterive; daughters, Sharon Simon and Lana Portie and her husband, Dale; and grandchildren, Reanna Pate, Danny Pate, and Rhett Simon; sisters, Phyllis Jackson and her husband, Dale, and Betty Duplant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private committal was held through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

My father was the greatest man I have ever known. He loved my mother more than anything, and was so good to our family. Dad stayed active until the very end. He had a workshop and could make anything. Dad was very talented and came up with new inventions all the time. My Dad could fix anything! Dad helped many people, and was very kind and generous. . Not only that, but Dad was so funny. He kept us laughing until the very end. We will never forget my dad, a/k/a Paw Paw Ray, I will always love you, Daddy.
