Charles Snyder

Charles Edward Snyder, 63, of Port Arthur, died Thursday, November 15, 2018, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. A native and lifelong resident of Port Arthur, he was born on July 5, 1955, to Tanua Rae Torbett Snyder and Gerald Rudd Snyder.

Survivors include his mother, Tanua Snyder, of Austin; children, Kathryn Snyder, of Houston, Travis Snyder, of Beaumont, Carrie Friedrich, of Dallas, and Tania Snyder, of Idaho; five grandchildren, Jadie Baker, Brooke Friedrich, Christopher Glasco, Natalie VanAllen, and Hudson Friedrich; brothers, Kent Snyder, of Katie and Mark Snyder, of Austin; and sister, Jerrilee Meeker, of Austin.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Snyder.

A gathering of Mr. Snyder’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
