Cheryl Gibson Buckley, 61, of Vidor, died Monday, September 25, 2017. She was born on October 7, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Helen Datusch and Isiah Gibson.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Ron Buckley; father and step-mother, Isiah and Margot Gibson; children, Hope Bourque and her husband, Terry, of Lumberton; C.J. Veazey and his wife, Tonya, of Vidor; Jessica Rubero and her husband, Rob, of Vidor; Ronnie Buckley and his wife, Angela, of Kingwood; and Derek Veazey and his wife, Kasie, of Vidor; grandchildren, Garrett Bourque, Brandt Bourque, Ashlyn Bourque, Mallory Veazey, Caiden Veazey, Zoe Veazey, Briana Buckley, Baillie Buckley, Brett Veazey, and Adelyn Veazey; great-grandchildren, Kylie Hooks and Aubrey Bourque; brother, Gary Parker, of Beaumont; sisters, Pam Wattigney and her husband, Rocky; and Ettie Thompson and her husband, Brian; and step-siblings, Kelli VanAusdal and her husband, Brandt; Robert Salazar and his wife, Barbara Jones; and Shane Parham and his wife, Bree.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

A gathering of Mrs. Buckley’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Vidor.
