Survivors include the love of his life, Sandra Gutierrez; daughters, Ava and Penelope; son, Luke; parents, Carol and Russ Munch; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Kai Overstreet; brother and sister-in-law, Nathan Simpson and Christine Jones; nephew, Max Munch; great-grandmother, Eleanor Justice; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Irene and Raymond Francis and Maxine and Gene Munch.

Chris’ memorial celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2021, at Wildwood-Village Mills United Methodist Church, 5943 FM 3063, Village Mills, with Reverend Randy Carrion officiating, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chris’ name to Paper for Water https:/paperforwater.org. The mission of Paper for Water is to bring water and the Word to the Thirsty one piece of paper at a time.  They bring water wells and water storage to people in need.  With Chris’ passion for water and his desire to help others, this seems a fitting way to remember his life.
