Clara Williams

Clara Bell Williams, 77, of Beaumont, died Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Beaumont. She was born April 7, 1941, in Beaumont, to Mamie Lamberth-Chaney and Joseph Chaney.

She enjoyed traveling, especially to Branson. She also loved her grandchildren, they were her whole life.

Survivors include her son, Robert Hamm and his wife, Connie; grandson, Robert Ethan Hamm and Christopher Logan Hamm; and granddaughter, Hanna Abshier, all of Orange; sisters, Helen Clawson, of Vidor; Justine Tinkle and her husband, Larry, of Winnie; and Larue Greenwood, of Woodville.

A memorial gathering of Ms. Williams’ family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
