Cliff will always be my friend. I will always look for that text after 5 that made me laugh. I will keep looking for that ice cream beer he said was the best and when I find it I will buy 2. I will continue to aspire to be as good and honest as a friend to others as he was to me. Slainte Cliff!

I am blessed that I got to meet Cliff for the first time two year ago. He noticed that I had went to an ACTS retreat with the church when I wore my fishing bracelet.. We had shared our experiences together. It was nice that how we are separated by miles that our love for God is what connected us. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. He will be missed.

Deborah Robison

Cliff attended a Diversity & Inclusion Tour I had coordinated in 2015 that brought him and several other CHRISTUS associates to San Antonio's ITC. We've been friends ever since and he will be greatly missed! He offered sympathy and compassion when my dad and brother passed away in Oct 2019 just 12 days apart from each other. He was there for me just like he was there for so many of us.. He had a great work ethic and drive to work his way from the bottom on up to becoming a ROM. I was so proud of his accomplishments and how he always offered to help anyone. My deepest condolences to his family and sending my prayers to them. Cliff I'm gonna miss you my friend!

Cliff was a boss, a leader, a mentor, and a friend. It’s hard for me to put into words the pieces that will be missing after this time. Even now I find myself hearing a story and knowing he’d have a laugh over it. Cliff lived his life to the fullest on his terms, and I think that’s the greatest lesson he ever taught me. I grieve not for my friend, but for the family he leaves behind, because I know he meant ten times more to them. I celebrate Cliff because I knew he grabbed a hold of life and got everything he wanted from it.

Deborah Laird Walker/Wayne Walker

Cliff was always pleasant and helpful. He will be missed by our Christus family. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Rhonda Winford

Cliff was always so nice and professional to work with. He is one of those rare individuals that you never hear anyone talk bad about. Praying for Cliff's family and friends in this devastating time.

Wayne Moore

The world is a little sadder without Cliff in it. Cliff always had an upbeat, can-do attitude at work. He took good care of us and made sure we had what we needed to do our jobs better. I will miss him as many will. God bless his soul and comfort his family.

Mike Lenway

Cliff was my best and closest friend and i imagine many folks could say that about him because he was that kind of man. He was a once in a lifetime kind of friend who leaves an enormous hole in the lives of those left behind. No matter the time or circumstance, if I was in a bind, I could count on him without fail. Always ready with advice followed up with "You're grown - gonna do what you want anyway". And after ignoring his advice multiple times in a row and falling on my face every time, he was there with a beer, a shoulder, and not a single I told you so. Taken far too soon with so many unfinished plans, he leaves behind an empty chair that no one could possibly ever fill.

Michael Dunn

I got to get to know Cliff as he was just starting his Career. He was so open and honest with with a "let me tell you straight". The care and loving he had is a very are and special thing to find and he had it in spades even while telling you the truths that hurt. Cliff, Go with peace as your journey is now with God, brotha!

Gwen Lingenfelter

I have tears on my face and prayers in my heart for Cliff and all his family. I always looked forward to going to Beaumont to work projects with Cliff & his team. Cliff was always fun & full of energy and creative & positive ideas. I truly miss Cliff already.

Taylor Wigley

Cliff taught me quite a few lessons in life. He was an excellent boss and mentor, but what enabled that is that he was a truly great and social friend. He always found the perfect balance between getting his projects done, training his team, and still having time to go golfing on the weekends or hanging out cooking BBQ (he loved to cook and was great at it). He introduced me to so many things that will never be the same without him (working out, golfing, learning craft beers and brewing). My heart goes out to Shelie, Aubrey, Justin, Cody, Scott, Brad, Mike, Tim and everyone else ( which is a ton of people) whom he had changed lifes for the positive. The only thing taking the pain away is looking back on all the great memories we made and knowing A. He lived life to the fullest with no regrets and B. He would want us to keep marching forward. In summary, I'll miss Cliff and all the memories we shared together, advice he imparted upon me, and his straightfoward live life to the max attitude. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. To anyone else reading this Stay strong, it's what he would want.

Daniel Ford, CHRISTUS Health Mission Leader

Cliff was all the wonderful things I am reading here, but I will add that he also was a very important leader for our health ministry. He extended the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. His work enabled all that we did for our patients and the community. I believe our Lord will richly reward him in Paradise beyond anything our mind can conceive of or imagine. We look forward to seeing him again some day.

Eriic Harris

As we go through life we have the opportunity to interact with many people. I can honestly say Cliff was one of the best. He was the definition of character, and integrity. You could count on an honest opinion delivered to you compassionately. The struggle was real but he embraced it with a smile and was quick to lend a hand to anyone in need.. I was fortunate enough to no only work with Cliff but also spend time with him as a friend. He was rock solid in every situation. He lived to have a good time and I am confident that we should all strive to get as much out of life as he did in his short time. Cliff will be missed tremendously.

Chat Musick

Cliff, it's hard to believe that you are not with us anymore, your CHRISTUS family will miss you very much. Asking God to comfort Shelie, Aubrey and all your family members as only He can in this difficult time..

Bill Boyett

My deepest condolences to Cliff's family. Cliff was a person we all hope and wish to be in our lives. His compassion and passion were unmatched. He always strived to do the right thing for those around him, even it meant sacrifice on his part. Cliff exceeded at Extending the Healing Ministry of Jesus Christ at CHRISTUS Health. Cliff's earthly light went out way to early, but for those of us who were blessed with having Cliff in our lives, his light will always glow warmly in our hearts. Godspeed my friend.

Elfa Humble
