Clint, I'm sorry for your loss. May God grant you peace in this time of sorrow.

Erin Heartfield

Carl was a true ray of sunshine. Every time I saw him, he always welcomed me with one of the best hugs ever. I will cherish all of the wonderful memories made with him, especially those at the beach cabin, and swimming at the house. I always loved looking at his shark tooth and arrowhead collection, and just being fascinated. I can remember so many times going into Heartfield's and going into his office to give him a hug and tell him hello. Those are memories that I will hold onto dearly. My thoughts and prayers are most definitely with Clint, Doug, Alex, Brice, Cathy, and all of his family and friends. His presence will be greatly missed. I love you Carl.

Kathi, Clint and Doug, I will really miss Carl, I considered him one of my best friends, I am sorry to say I was not able to see him more in his later days. Remember the days when He and I used to go Bennigans for Lunch almost daily and when one day, We were trying to get in and We found that they closed, How dare them not asking us if they could!. Those were the great days. I am sorry for your loss, because We are there with you. God Bless you all in this time of Morning.

Our deepest sympathies to the Heartfield family. I have many fond memories of Carl from gun shows to his lovely store. He was a fair and kind gentleman and will be greatly missed. Praying for God’s comfort to Clint and his entire family in the days ahead.

Brice Heartfield

All I had were good memories of him from my childhood. From hanging out in his jewelry shop picking up bits of jewelry off the floor. Showing him what cool stuff I had found. To all the fun summers at his beach house. He was always just an overall happy guy and I always felt comfortable and happy around him.

My deepest sympathies to all of the Heartfield family. I had the great pleasure of meeting Carl through his wife Kathi. I would care for their pets when they would hit the road for travel. I could instantly see their love family, friends, collecting, animals, exploration & joy of travel. Carl was always so kind to me & I was overjoyed to see my sweet friend Kathi had found her match. Sending you all love & prayers Erin M

Your dad was a good guy. A community loss.

I had the pleasure of being a long time friend and working with Carl on investment projects for years. It is hard for me to accept that my friend is gone. I truly loved this man like my brother, and I feel like Clint is like my son. You can't find people like this that you know are there for you no matter what happens. I have lost someone that will never be forgotten as long as I still have any memory left in my old brain. See you on the other side, R.I.P. buddy

Thinking of you all, Kathi, Clint and Doug. I have so many good memories with Uncle Carl from my younger years. My best memories of him were from fishing and fun at the beach cabins to parties, darts and crawfish boils at his house. I still remember finding my first sharks tooth and arrow head combing the beach, just him and I. He was the first to make me question why it would be a good idea to keep putting a lime in a drink (I get it now Uncle Carl). :) He was always so loving and sweet to us. He'll never be forgotten and will always be loved. Rest easy

Kathi Heartfield

Thank you April! That was Carl through and through.
