Cody Johnson

Cody Allen Johnson, 31, of Beaumont, died Friday, January 25, 2019, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born August 12, 1987, in Beaumont, to Velma Jean Tarver and Glenn Alvin Johnson.

Cody enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to car shows, and fishing but his passion was being a tattoo artist.

Survivors include his mother, Velma Benoit and her husband, Dean; brothers, David Call, Jr., all of Port Arthur; Justin Johnson and his wife, Brenna, of Tioga, North Dakota; half-brother, Glenn Alvin Johnson, Jr., of Channelview; stepsister, Brandi Benoit, of Groves; and grandfather, John Tarver, of Buna.

A gathering of Cody’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Broussard’s. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
