Dale Shannon Johnson

Dale Shannon Johnson, 56, of Beaumont, died Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was born on September 14, 1961, in Starks, Louisiana.

Dale was a maintenance mechanic at Firestone Polymers in Orange for twenty years. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local #195 and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, and helping people in any way. Dale will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and Pop.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly Johnson of Beaumont; father, John David Johnson of Dequincy, Louisiana; daughter, Brittney Johnson of Nederland; son, Landy Johnson and his wife, Monica, of Starks, Louisiana; grandchildren, Paisley and Silas Johnson and Betsey McIntyre; sister, Janie Ashworth and her husband, Ricky, of Starks, Louisiana; and brother, Anthony Johnson and his wife, Cheryl, of Starks, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores “Bugs” Johnson.

A gathering of Mr. Johnson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 17, 2017, at First Pentecostal Church, 225 LA-109, Starks, Louisiana, followed by his interment at Miller Cemetery Annex, Starks, Louisiana.
