Danny Gene Holston

Danny Gene Holston, 63, of Kountze, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on July 26, 1954, in Port Arthur, to Patricia McGee and Harry Holston, Jr. Danny retired as a mechanic/carpenter.

Survivors include his sisters, Latice Fontenot and Skyla Travis Herford, both of Kountze; brother, Robert Holston of Sour Lake; and special cousin/sister, Terry Brown Wisdom and her husband, Tim Wisdom, of Kountze; nephews, Patrick Holston, Austin J Holston, Cody Herford, and Braidon Fontenot; nieces, Nora Holston Winiger, Tammy Gribble, Hannah Fontenot, Kasi Arena, Brianna Cartwright, and Hannah Wisdom.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Johnny Holston; nephew, Dustin Herford; maternal grandmother, Mary Lenola McGee; and paternal grandparents, Doris and Harry Holston.

A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. With a memorial service at a later date.
