Darren Keith Spivey II

Darren Keith Spivey II, 37, of Nederland, died Thursday, September 14, 2017. He was born on August 18, 1980, in Beaumont, to Diana Faye (Smith) and Darren Keith Spivey, Sr. Keith loved sports and coaching his sons. He was a well-respected supervisor at Exxon Mobil Beaumont Refinery.

Survivors include his wife, Tiffany Spivey, and sons, Tyler and Caleb, all of Nederland; father, Darren Spivey, Sr., and his wife, Diana “Di”, of Nome; mother, Diana Allen and her husband, Monte, of Bridge City; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Mae Smith of China; half-sister, Nikki Sonnier and her husband, Darrell, of Nome; step-sister, Alisha Tamez and her husband, Hector, of Navasota; parents-in-law, Terry and Wanda Weatherford of Nederland; brother-in-law, Wes Weatherford and his wife, Erica, of Nederland; sister-in-law, Traci Bieber and her husband, Chris, of Nederland; niece, Shelbi Ledet; and nephews, Mason Spivey, Jack Bieber, John Bieber, and Luke Bieber.

A gathering of Mr. Spivey’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Seventh Street Baptist Church, 200 North 7th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 18, 2017, at Seventh Street Baptist Church, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
