David will be sorely missed but I am confident he is with the Lord. We enjoyed conversations about our faith, sports, and especially fishing and hunting. He would show pictures of the latest fish he caught and his eyes would light up like a kid on Christmas morning. Condolences to the family. Will see you on the other side my friend!

We were saddened to hear of David's passing even though we know he is now with the Lord. We knew Elaine and David before any of us had children and continued our friendship as our kids all finished college and started their lives as adults. David was always an interesting, enthusiastic, and encouraging person to be around. We admired Elaine and David for their consistent walk with the Lord as a couple and as parents and grandparents.. David will be missed -- his smile, laugh and greetings. We will continue in prayer for Elaine and children and grandchildren. May God give them peace and comfort in the days ahead.

It’s hard to put into words how much David meant to us. David was our CPA for 30 years but a friend before that. You could trust David with anything because of his integrity and honesty.. Many will say that he was one of their closest friends and he made us all feel like we were. We know he is in a special place in Heaven today. Our prayers are with Elaine and family. We love you all.

There's an empty space where David once stood. An inspiration to so many, a trusted advisor and councilor, a stalwart in the business community but most of all a wonderful friend of nearly five decades. I am truly blessed to have known you. You will be sorely missed my friend.

Linda Buser

David always made me feel the same as so many others. You thought you were his best friend. I got to chaperone youth trips with him many years ago and will cherish the memories that were made with him. He was one of the best examples of what a true Christian should be. He loved the Lord and his family with his whole heart. What a legacy he has left to so many that had the honor of calling him their friend. I pray for his beautiful family that will have beautiful memories for the rest of their lives.

I am so saddened by the loss of David. I met David 20+ years ago at a conference for our financial planning broker. David was a super Christian man and shared his knowledge freely with myself and others in our meeting group at least once a month over 20 years. He also honored me because he liked the clothes I wore and more than once had me find Elaine special gifts, usually on the tastefully glittery side, He was a wonderful and caring husband. and father.

Peggy and Dennis Pitman

Sincere sympathy to Elaine, Kyle, Kimberly and Kolby. So very sorry for your loss. David was just a super super guy. He and Elaine were our neighbors many years ago when we resided in Texas. He was truly a Christian, a leader, a devoted husband and a wonderful father, and a terrific neighbor.. He will be missed.

Carla Michalka

To the White family, I am so very sorry for your loss, David, the pillar of your family. These days will be difficult, but let them bring thoughts of all the special moments shared. Celebrate his life and comfort each other knowing he is with the Lord..

Jim and Elaine Leger Texarkana Texas

In the late 60’s and early 70’s French High played Jasper High in baseball several times. Jasper High had an outfielder who was very aggressive, but he was smooth and very fluid. His plays looked almost effortless. His name was David White. My wife Elaine and I got to know David and his Elaine thru NEBC. We played church sports and enjoyed their contributions in Sunday school. David was a true professional and helped anyone he could in any situation. He was a huge friend to the Leger family. Our prayers are with Elaine and the family in dealing with this heavy loss.

Sharon Richards

I met Elaine, and David about 8 years ago. They started off as my clients, and quickly became my friends. I thank God that he put those two in my path. My heart breaks for Elaine, and family. Sure will miss David, but I know he is completely healed now, and in the presence of our Lord, and Savior.

Prissy Sheffield

David was a great friend since high school in Jasper, and then in Beaumont, in church and living in our neighborhood of Pinewood. He was such an inspiration to so many and always so encouraging. He loved the Lord and his family. We love his family so much. Please know that Elaine, Kyle, Melanie, Kim, Mark, Kolby and Lindsay, and his precious grandchildren are in our prayers. Love, Rodney and Prissy Sheffield

Mark and Eileen Leger

There are very few people you meet in your live that make you a better person just being around them. I miss our fishing trips already. Goodbye my old friend.

JONATHAN & ANGELICA JUHAN

Angelica and I are truly sorry for your loss. We are praying for y'all continuously. David was truly a great man. He was literally the same man at church, at work and while pursuing his hobbies. Such consistency is very very rare. I had so many fun times with David. I can still hear his laugh now, Most of our laughing was at the expense of Freddie. David inspired me to be a better man. I will truly miss him. I am very very sorry. Let us know if we can help in any way. Jonathan and Angelica Juhan

Yvonne Compean

I am so so very sad that David has passed away. I have no doubt that God has welcomed him with open arms into His glory. David was a very humble, caring and wise man. I learned so very much from him at all of the WIN Team meetings of our financial broker/dealer. Saying a special prayer for David's family for the strength to endure the loss of such a wonderful man. God bless them all and may David rest in peace.

Guy E. Crabtree

Isaiah 66:2 " This is who I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word." I know David is held in high esteem with God. A more humble and contrite man I haven't met. I will miss him greatly, from business and financial expertise to Godly wisdom. I'm sorry for your loss and will keep your family in prayer.

Barbara Burrow

My prayers are with Elaine, the "kids" and grandchildren as they begin this journey of grief. David was definitely one of the "good guys" and he will be greatly missed.

David and Curtis, his brother, were classmates of mine in Jasper. David was two years older and always was someone I looked up to in school. Later after moving to Beaumont I was always happy to see David when our paths cossed. He was a strong Christian and a good man.

Our relationship was purely professional, but David always treated me and my father like best friends. He had an incredibly warm and pleasing personality. I always felt good chatting with him even though the initial purpose of my call was his professional advice, which was most valued. I will miss those calls.

Ryan Mireles

David has been a mentor and a role model to me for nearly 10 years. The world is a better place because of his hard work, generosity, and willingness to invest in others. Rest in peace and gig ‘em!

When I would meet David in the office we talked a little business but spent most of the time talking about farming, ranching, hunting , fishing and family. He will be missed and the community has lost a humble leader.

We couldn’t have asked for a better man to share our grandsons with than David, aka Pop! We were so blessed to join families with David and Elaine, 16 years ago when Lindsay and Kolby married! David had become part of our family and a great friend to us as well! We enjoyed many good times together at ballgames, birthday celebrations, family get togethers, and fishing. He was a wonderful person in so many ways... a loving husband, father, and Pop! He loved his family and he loved Jesus! We are better for having had David White in our lives.. He was taken too soon from all who loved him, but we can find comfort in knowing he’s with his Savior, and we will see him again! Prayers for Elaine, Kolby, Lindsay, Kyle, Melanie, Kimberly, Mark, the grandkids, Sharon, Celia, and all the rest of his family and friends! May God comfort you all knowing David is resting in peace.
