In the late 60’s and early 70’s French High played Jasper High in baseball several times. Jasper High had an outfielder who was very aggressive, but he was smooth and very fluid. His plays looked almost effortless. His name was David White. My wife Elaine and I got to know David and his Elaine thru NEBC. We played church sports and enjoyed their contributions in Sunday school. David was a true professional and helped anyone he could in any situation. He was a huge friend to the Leger family. Our prayers are with Elaine and the family in dealing with this heavy loss.
