Philip David Feldschau

David Feldschau, Sr., 62, of Nederland, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021. He was born August 31, 1958, in Port Arthur, to the late “Bill” Feldschau, Sr. and Gloria “Flip” Feldschau.

David was a lifelong Nederland resident and co-owner and mechanic at Bill’s Garage, Port Neches. He was a great friend to many and never met a stranger. He loved to see people having a good time, thought any excuse was a good excuse for a backyard party or get-together with family and friends, and was always the last to leave a party.

David loved music, especially his favorite, Willie Nelson; 57 Chevys; the color orange; and hot dogs. He loved hunting, was an avid bowler, and was a collector of many things. Some of his greatest joy was found spending time with his grandkids and watching them play sports.

David was a most beloved, one-of-a-kind husband; father; grandfather; son; brother; uncle; friend; and mechanic. He was known for his kindness; patience; wittiness; selflessness; and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Those left to cherish David’s memory include his wife of forty-one years, Kathleen Feldschau, of Nederland; son, David Feldschau, Jr. and wife, Vanessa, of Pearland; daughter, Stacey Watson and husband, Jeremy, of Nederland; six beautiful grandchildren, Hanna and Landon Feldschau and Owen, Marie, Davis, and Jay Watson; mother, Gloria Feldschau, of Nederland; sister, Della Balsano and husband, David; brother, Ricky Feldschau, Sr. and wife, Kathleen; and many friends and extended family members.

David was preceded in death by his father, Bill Feldschau, Sr. and his brother, Bill Feldschau, Jr.

A gathering of Mr. Feldschau’s family and friends will be 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
