David Lynn Windham

David Lynn Windham, 67, of Beaumont, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on August 27, 1949, to Ann Chovanec Windham and Leonard Windham, in El Campo, Texas. David was a decorated United States Army Sergeant First Infantry Division having served in Vietnam. He was very generous, an avid fisherman, and loved the outdoors.

Survivors include his daughter, Tanya Rousset of Beaumont; and grandchildren, Mackenzie Cahill, Ella Cahill, and Anna Rousset.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Windham and sister, Joann Peveto.

A gathering of Mr. Windham’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
