David Simmons

David Alden Simmons, 60, of Kountze, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. He was born on January 7, 1958, in Pasadena, to Mildred Faye Smith and Floyd Allen Simmons.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Simmons; children, Joshua Simmons and his wife, Tammy, of Kountze; Keith Simmons and his wife Brandi, of Conroe, Rachel Larson and her husband, Fred, of Tennessee; and Misty Martin and her husband, David, of College Station; grandchildren, Madison Kinsey, Ryan Simmons, Kelli Simmons, Lily Simmons, Kate Larson, and Loren Larson; step-father, Aaron Hope Crain; and sister, Rhonda Taylor.

David is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Faye Smith Simmons Crain; father, Floyd Allen Simmons; his brother, Roger A. Simmons; and his son, Justin.

A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
