Debra “Momo” Traster, 55, of Hamshire-Fannett, died Sunday, August 20, 2017, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on December 24, 1961, to Clara Mascias Soliz and Domingo Soliz, in El Campo.

She was very hardworking, caring, and was the backbone of the family. Debra loved her grandchildren dearly. She loved her children and all of her family members, her root beers, and the Dallas Cowboys. She will be truly missed by all that knew her and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, John Traster; daughters, Shantell Winckler and her husband, Keith, of Hamshire-Fannett and Ashley Paule and her husband, Justin, of Mont Belvieu; son, John Dylan Traster and his wife, Destiny, of Beaumont; sisters, Rosa Luna of Houston; Lily Soliz of Bakersfield, California; and Sally Gomez and her husband, Ruben, of Beaumont; brother, Raymond Soliz and his wife, Gloria, of Angleton; and grandchildren, Tyler Winckler, Korbin Winckler, Ethan Winckler, and Sophia Traster.

She is preceded in death by parents; brother, Cruz Solis and sister, Angie Soliz.

A gathering of Mrs. Traster’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 25, 2017, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
