Derrell Colleps

Derrell Lynn Colleps, 80, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on January 5, 1938, in Silsbee, to Dora Lynn and Cordell Colleps.

Survivors include his children, Michael Colleps, of Dallas and Janis Goins and her husband, Joey, of Silsbee; grandchild, Olivia Goins, of Silsbee; brother, Dale Colleps, of Beaumont; and numerous, much loved nieces and nephews.

Derrell is preceded in death by his parents; wife of forty-eight years, Sally Ann Leeman; brothers, Dallas Colleps and Delmer Colleps; and sisters, Dimple Read, Ida Skinner, Delores Beyer, and Daisy Kluna.

A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
