Diola “Dee” Marie LaBove

Diola “Dee” Marie LaBove, 90, of China, died Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was born on July 23, 1926, to Adilia and Homer Richard, in Church Point, Louisiana, and had been a longtime resident of China. She was a retired lens washer with Rogers Enterprises.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Ann Fancey and her husband, Charles and Jeanette Parrish and her husband, Obie, all of China; Kathryn Spencer and her husband, Ron, of Southlake; and Phyllis Michels and her husband, Matthew, of Trinity; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dee is preceded in death by her daughter, Freda LaBove; son, Darrell LaBove; and husband, Lawrence LaBove.

A Rosary for Mrs. LaBove will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with her gathering to follow until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245 West Highway 90, China, with her interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
