Dominic Baione "Uncle Rico"

Dominic Baione “Uncle Rico” 85, of Beaumont, died Sunday, January 10, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on June 11, 1935, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Jennifer Bonetti Baione and James Baione. Dominic was a United States Air Force veteran. He retired from General Electric after twenty-five years of employment. Dominic was an avid sports fan and loved his Boston sports teams but also had a passion for horse racing. He mostly loved his Sunday dinners while getting to spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Baione; daughter, Stacey Baione, of San Antonio; and sons, Vincent Baione and Christopher Baione and his wife, Lisa, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Taylor Jones and her husband, Patrick, of Beaumont; Talia McPhee and her husband, Joshua, of Austin; Christopher Baione and his wife, Lindsey, of Beaumont; and Roxanne Werner and Ashley Werner, both of Houston; and six great-grandchildren.

A gathering of Mr. Baione’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
