Donnie Bennett

Donnie Lee Bennett, 45, of Anahuac, died Friday, May 31, 2019, at Bayside Community Hospital, Anahuac. He was born to Elaine Tyler and Henry Bennett, in Aransas Pass, on October 26, 1973. Donnie collected brass items and coins and enjoyed fishing. He was a welder.

Survivors include his mother, Elaine Tyler; sister, Diane Webb and her husband, David; brothers, Henry Eugene Bennett; William Jerome Bennett; Edward Bruce Atherton and his wife, Chelsea; and Charles Edward; numerous nieces and nephews; children, Rebekah Bennett, Tristan Bennett, Devin Nicole Bennett, and Laney Bennett; and fiancé, Lisa Morgan.

He is preceded in death by his father.

A graveside service for Mr. Bennett will be at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Pine Island Cemetery, 8278 Highway 465, Simpson, Louisiana, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
