Dorothy Ann Oyer

February 28, 1947 - April 25, 2019

Dorothy Ann Oyer, 72, of Beaumont, died Thursday, April 25, 2019. She was born February 28, 1947, to Bud Gay and Virginia Roy. Ann, as everyone called her, enjoyed spending time with her mother who survives her.

Ann truly enjoyed life through simple pleasures such as fishing on the bayou, outdoor cooking and camping anywhere there was water. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren but her day was complete when she was with her love, Ricky. Her beauty came from her unselfish ways that allowed her to love you just the way you are. One of her favorite past times was to people watch and she always found someone that would give her the giggles. Above all else, Ann loved her husband with a deep abiding love, her children, her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally.

Ann is survived by her husband, Richard Oyer of 28 years, her daughters, Tammy Quibodeaux, Bridgett Quibodeaux, and Christy Moton; her sons, Daniel Moton and wife, Beverly, and twins, Gary and Jerry Moton. Ann is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Don Hunter and his wife, Sandy; her sisters, Julia Saunders and her husband, Paul and Regina Lusignan.

Ann is preceded in death by her father, Bud Gay; her granddaughter, Tara Spell and great-grandson, Julian Whatley.

Ann’s arrangements are being handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, Texas.
