Dorothy Marie Touchett Hancock

Dorothy Marie Touchett Hancock, 81, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Pelican Bay Assisted Living, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of this area, she was born on January 5, 1936, to Jennie Lampman Touchett and Nelson Touchett. Dorothy was a driver and dispatcher for Beaumont Association of Senior Citizens for fifteen years.

Survivors include her sons, Chuck Hancock and his wife, Casey, of Hamshire and Steven Hancock and his wife, Maria, of Vidor; sister, Jo Ann Swope of Beaumont; brother, Shepard Touchett of Silsbee; and grandchildren, Brandt Hancock, Makenna Hancock, and Kaylen Hancock.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Merle Hancock; sister, Betty Hebert; and brother, Nelson Touchett.

A graveside service for Mrs. Hancock will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
