Eloise Johnson

Eloise Johnson, 86, of Nederland, died Friday, April 21, 2017. She was born on July 23, 1930, in Pelly, Texas to Iva Grace Simmons Smith and Kenneth Thomas Smith.  

Eloise enjoyed reading and was a member of Central Gardens Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Foster and her husband, Wilford, of Dallas and Linda Riley of Nederland; sons, Thomas Henry Johnson III of Beaumont and Kenneth Johnson and his wife, Laura, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, K.T. and Iva Grace Smith; husband of sixty-three years, Tom Johnson, Jr.; two brothers; and one sister.

A graveside for Mrs. Johnson will be 3:30 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
