Eloise Sole

March 21, 1927 - June 8, 2019

Eloise Sole, 92, of Beaumont, died Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. She was born on March 21, 1927, to, Roberta Williams Turner and George Turner, in Santa Ana, California.

Eloise was the daughter of a Navy man and has lived and traveled throughout the world. She was awarded the Jefferson Award for dedicated volunteerism and was very active in the Christmas Bureau. Eloise was a very devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and loved her dachshund, Heidi Vonn.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula Sadler and her husband, Larry, of Beaumont; granddaughter, Christi Ducharme and her husband, David, of Houston; great-grandchildren, Chris Watts and his wife, Edyajah, of Yigo, Guam and Betty Baker and her husband, Chris, of Beaumont; and great-great-grandchild, Alexander Watts, of Yigo, Guam; sisters-in-law, Colleen Stewart and her husband, James, of Keller and Adaleen Makin and her husband, Ron, of Greenville; and brother-in-law, Tom Taylor, of Georgia.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life for sixty-nine years, Chester Sole and sister-in-law, Jackie Taylor.

A gathering of Mrs. Sole’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2019, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 3430 Harrison Avenue, Beaumont, with her ennichment to follow at St. Andrew’s Columbarium. A private committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
