Emily Jeansonne
Emily Louise Jeansonne, 84, of Beaumont, died Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Beaumont. She was born on January 11, 1936, in LeCompte, Louisiana, to Nelda Jeansonne Mayeux and Emeric L. Mayeux. Emily retired from Beaumont Independent School District after teaching for more than thirty-five years.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Jeansonne, of Beaumont; daughter, Angela Louise Fannin and her husband, Ted, of Beaumont; sons, David Jeansonne, of Beaumont; Stephen Jeansonne, of Arlington; and Michael Jeansonne, D.D.S., of Beaumont; and grandchildren, Jennifer Stewart-Richardson and her husband, Edward, of New York; Taylor Fannin; of Beaumont; Justin Fannin, of Dallas; Phillip Jeansonne and Ryan Jeansonne, both of Arlington.
A gathering of Mrs. Jeansonne’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her Rosary recited at 2:00 p.m., followed by her funeral service at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. Please observe social distancing guidelines.
