Eugene Aubrey Leslie, Jr.

Eugene “Aubrey” Leslie, Jr., 79, of Beaumont, died Friday, June 5, 2020, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on February 27, 1941 to Bessie and Eugene A. Leslie, Sr., in Fannett, Texas.

Aubrey was a man who cared deeply for his family and provided well for them. He was an Allstate agent in Beaumont until retiring in 2000. He enjoyed sporting in the latest model cars and using them to take family trips and making memorable excursions with those he loved. Staying fit was important to Aubrey and he walked and jogged daily in his neighborhood. 

In addition to loving and sharing life with his wife and daughter, his life is marked with caring for his mother-in-law and making time for his niece and nephews. Attending worship services at Calvery Baptist Church, Beaumont with family and friends was meaningful part of his life. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Ann; daughter, Cindy Williams and her husband, Steve, of Onalaska; sister, Becky Laidacker and her husband, David, of Fannett; brother, Dale Leslie and his wife, Elizabeth, of Beaumont; sister-in-law, Marlene Laird and her husband, Bob, of Colmesneil.

A graveside service for Mr. Leslie will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, 2020, at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
