Frances Dixson

Frances Dixson, 87, of Vidor, died Saturday, December 23, 2017. She was born on September 22, 1930, to Angel Miller Simoneaux and Pat Simoneaux.

Survivors include her husband, Shelby Dixson; sons, Shelby Glenn Dixson and Roger Dixson and his wife, Terry, all of Vidor; grandchildren, Aaron Dixson and his wife, Shannon, of Evadale; and Jennifer Roark and her husband, Tex; Crystal Waguespack and her husband, Jason; and Shelton Dixson, all of Vidor; great-grandchildren, Erin Dixson, Nicole Dixson, Leena Arnold, Jarrod Kelley, Jayden Roark, and Jaycie Roark; and sisters, Gaydale Laviolette and her husband, Steve, of Newton; and Norma Simoneaux of Nederland. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank Simoneaux; and sister, Marjorie Miller.

A gathering of Mrs. Dixson’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Eastgate Pentecostal Church, 290 South Street, Vidor, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Del Rose Dixson Cemetery, Vidor.
