Frank Donahoe
Frank Bernard Donahoe, Sr., 88, of Pearland, died Thursday, August 23, 2018. He was born on September 10, 1929, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Mary Agnes Maple and Phillip George Donahoe.
Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Juanita Inez Marcontell Donahoe; children, Frank Bernard Donahoe, Jr., of Missouri City; Sue Donahoe, of Pearland; Mike Donahoe and Laurie Ann Musachia, both of Houston; and Pat Donahoe and his wife, Gabby, of Pearland; grandchildren, Angelica Musachia, Dustin Donahoe, Josett Musachia, Hope Musachia, and Danielle Marcontell; great-grandchildren, Roger Galvan and Mia Vigil; nieces, Rita Lindenberger, Marcia Jackson, Sissie Breaux, and Cheri Dentry; nephews, Floyd Marcontell and Doug Marcontell; and brother-in-law, Elmer Marcontell.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phillip George Donahoe II; and nephews, Phillip George Donahoe III and Walter Earl Marcontell.
A gathering of Mr. Donahoe’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2018, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Felps Cemetery, Thicket.

Frank was like an adopted Father to me. He always had an eye and an ear in my direction whilst growing up with his children in Pearland Texas. I will always remember our lunches together while Sue was in the hospital. You knew it was me by the sound my loafers made when I walked down that long hall. You are a true Hero! I just learned of Frank’s death. I knew him for many years at IBM while working on the Space Shuttle project. To many, Frank was known as “Mr. FEID”. His expertise in troubleshooting problems in a very complicated piece of hardware saved us many hours of downtime. I remember him sitting at his desk in a suit and tie pouring over large computer listings.

I just found out about Frank"s passing. What an engineer and a wonderful man! He never met anyone he wouldn't help solve any problem he could. He will always be remembered by those whose lives he blessed. My condolence to his family and friends.
